Job Overview
Nuco Solutions are seeking a Communal Services Cleaner to work with their client in Horndean and surrounding areas, specifically for someone with experience in a Social Housing or similar cleaning role. A van and fuel card is provided with this role.
Responsibilities
* Sweeping, vacuuming, and washing floors, walls, ceilings, and other fixtures.
* Cleaning internal windows (using ladders when necessary).
* Litter picking, graffiti removal, carpet cleaning, and erecting signs and notice boards.
* Ensuring areas such as communal entrances, stairwells, corridors, and bin stores are clean and well-maintained.
* Following cleaning specifications and scope of work to meet health and safety standards.
* Completing Fire Risk Assessments and checking alarms and emergency lighting.
* Managing workload to ensure maximum efficiency, using available resources.
* Ensuring materials are stocked, and all equipment is maintained and used correctly.
* Keeping accurate records on materials, time, and other work-related documentation.
Requirements
* Experience in a similar cleaning or social housing role.
* Knowledge of communal cleaning practices, equipment, and chemicals.
* Technical skills in using mechanical devices and cleaning products.
* Full UK driving licence is essential.
* Effective communication skills to be able to interact positively with customers and resolve any issues efficiently.
