A global leader in safety and security solutions is currently recruiting for a Security Systems Engineer / Commissioning Engineer to join their expanding business. With a base Dublin, this Security Systems Engineer will report into the Project Manager to service Global accounts and require extensive experience working in the electronic security system industry and within a wide range of customer base (datacentres, office buildings, warehousing).

The Security Systems Engineer / Commissioning Engineer will need experience of on-site configuration and commissioning of access control and video management system & enterprise level CCTV systems.

Security Systems Engineer / Commissioning Engineer responsibilities include:

* Coordinate, Commission, Test & Troubleshoot projects throughout their country of employment.

* Manage all server deployments and all programming activities.

* Inspects cable installation, device installation, head-end build out, system final termination, programming, and testing of systems.

* Communicate with PM and internal staff regarding engineering tasks and follow up action items.

* Contribute to the technical design/design assurance and delivery of new complex, global projects.

* Build and maintain technical relationships with suppliers/partners.

* Ensure all projects that are delivered have undergone a detailed technical review and a validated Commissioning process.

* Work with colleagues in the technical team/engineering personnel in country, and provide support to colleagues as the engineering department grows.

* Service and maintenance support – assisting clients resolving technical problems, commissioning/programming. Providing remote support to customers, colleagues, and subcontractors.

* Engineering support for small works and new project works.

* Adhere to existing processes for commissioning, QA/QC & project sign off.

* Travel to sites to meet clients and build relationships.

* Hands on commission projects.

* Engage in open service cases and assist in resolving technical problems when requested by the service team.

* Correct completion of the paperwork and/or handover documentation, submitted timely for jobs/tasks undertaken, in order that company records are maintained accurately.

* Co-ordinating with the clients IT, Security, Health & Safety and facility management teams, to ensure a high level of client cooperation.
