We’re looking for an experienced Commercial Gas Engineer to join an established and growing building services team working across Kent only. This is a field-based role covering a variety of commercial sites — no London travel required.
You’ll be responsible for the service, maintenance, repair, and commissioning of commercial boiler plant, gas appliances, and associated plant room equipment. You’ll also assist with occasional out-of-hours call-outs to ensure client sites remain operational and compliant.

Key Responsibilities

Service, maintain, and repair commercial gas systems and plant equipment.

Diagnose and rectify faults efficiently and safely.

Commission new installations to ensure compliance and performance.
*
Complete all required documentation and service reports accurately.
*
Participate in an out-of-hours call-out rota to support client sites.
*
Work in accordance with current health, safety, and environmental standards.
Requirements
*
Proven experience with commercial gas appliances and plant equipment.
*
Strong diagnostic and fault-finding skills.
*
Hold valid Gas Safe commercial qualifications (COCN1, CIGA1, CDGA1, ICPN1, TPCP1, etc.).
*
Full UK driving licence.
*
Ability to work independently and as part of a professional engineering team.
What’s on Offer

£45,000–£54,000 per annum (depending on experience).

Overtime at 1.5x rate.
