Salary: £36,000 – £43,000 per annum (negotiable for the right experience)
Hours: 40 hours per week

About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Commercial Catering Engineer to join our growing team, covering a Midlands-based patch including Nottingham, Staffordshire, Coventry and Leicester. This is a field-based role working across a variety of commercial catering environments.

You will be responsible for the service, maintenance, fault finding and repair of commercial catering equipment to a high standard, ensuring excellent customer service at all times.

Key Responsibilities

Service, repair and maintain commercial catering equipment

*

Diagnose faults and carry out effective repairs on-site

*

Work on both gas and electrical catering equipment (where qualified)

*

Complete all job paperwork accurately and on time

*

Communicate clearly with customers and office staff

*

Ensure compliance with health & safety regulations

*

Participate in the on-call rota

Requirements

*

Minimum 5 years’ experience as a Commercial Catering Engineer

*

Relevant gas qualifications (COMCAT preferred)

*

Strong fault-finding and diagnostic skills

*

Full UK driving license

*

Ability to work independently and manage workload

*

Professional, customer-focused attitude

Salary & Benefits

£36,000 – £43,000 per annum, negotiable depending on experience (higher considered for the right candidate)

40-hour working week

*

Door-to-door travel time paid

*

Overtime paid at 1.5x

*

1 in 6 weekend on-call rota

*

£100 standby payment

*

Saturdays paid at 1.5x

*

Sundays paid at double time

*
