Overview
We are looking to recruit a skilled CNC Turner to join their growing team in Bristol. This is a fantastic opportunity to join a well-established company within the general engineering sector. The ideal candidate will have strong experience setting and operating CNC lathes and be confident working independently.
Key Responsibilities
* Set up and operate CNC turning machines (XYZ and Mazak)
* Produce high-quality components in line with technical drawings
* Monitor machining processes to ensure accuracy and consistency
* Carry out basic adjustments and troubleshooting where required
* Maintain a safe and organised working environment
Requirements
* Proven experience as a CNC Turner
* Strong knowledge of Fanuc controls
* Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings
* Confident working independently with minimal supervision
* Good attention to detail and quality standards
Desirable (Not Essential)
* Experience with CNC programming
* Previous experience working with a variety of engineering materials
Materials
* Working with a range of materials depending on project requirements (not limited to steels and specialist alloys)
