JR Clinical Training & Case Management (JR CTCM) is a growing nurse-led organisation providing specialist case management, direct employment management, clinical training, and expert care services to children and adults with complex health needs, catastrophic injuries, and disabilities throughout the UK.
Due to continued growth, we are seeking to recruit an experienced Clinical Lead β Complex Care & Case Management to join our leadership team.
This is a unique opportunity for an ambitious Registered Nurse who is looking to move beyond traditional nursing roles and play a key part in shaping, developing, and leading high-quality complex care and case management services.
Working closely with the Director, Registered Manager, Deputy Manager, and Operations Director, you will support clinical governance, quality assurance, service development, and the delivery of outstanding care and support to our clients and families.
This role would suit an experienced clinician who enjoys autonomy, leadership, problem-solving, relationship building, and working across a variety of complex care environments.
π THE ROLE
As Clinical Lead β Complex Care & Case Management, you will provide clinical oversight across our regulated services and support the continued growth of our case management provision.
This is a primarily office-based role from our Weston-super-Mare office, with regular travel required to client homes, meetings, reviews, competency assessments, and community-based services.
Key responsibilities include:
β Leading clinical governance and quality assurance activities
β Providing medication management oversight
β Completing clinical audits and driving service improvements
β Undertaking competency assessments and clinical sign-off
β Providing clinical supervision and support to care teams
β Reviewing and developing policies, procedures, and governance systems
β Supporting incident investigations and lessons learned
β Supporting compliance with CQC regulations and quality standards
β Providing clinical advice and guidance across the organisation
β Supporting complex care packages and regulated services
β Undertaking client visits, quality assurance reviews, and package reviews
β Working alongside case managers, families, deputies, solicitors, and multidisciplinary professionals
β Contributing to the growth and development of JR CTCM's case management and complex care services
π WORKING ARRANGEMENTS
β Primarily office-based from our Weston-super-Mare office
β Hybrid working available where appropriate
β Regular travel to client homes, meetings, reviews, and community settings
β Monday to Friday working pattern
β Participation in a shared senior management on-call rota (approximately one week per month) following induction and competency sign-off
β No routine weekend working
β No Christmas Day, Boxing Day, or New Year's Day working
π ESSENTIAL REQUIREMENTS
β Registered General Nurse (RGN) with active NMC registration
β Minimum five years post-registration experience
β Experience within complex care, community nursing, rehabilitation, brain injury, paediatrics, long-term conditions, case management, or healthcare leadership environments
β Experience working alongside and supporting community-based care teams
β Experience undertaking competency assessments and supporting staff development
β Experience supporting quality assurance, clinical governance, audits, and service improvement
β Experience reviewing and developing policies, procedures, and governance systems
β Strong clinical assessment and decision-making skills
β Excellent communication, report writing, and relationship-building skills
β Ability to work independently and as part of a leadership team
β Understanding of CQC regulations, governance, and quality standards
β Experience working alongside multidisciplinary teams
β Full UK driving licence and access to a vehicle
β Willingness to travel as part of the role
π DESIRABLE EXPERIENCE
β Previous case management experience
β Experience supporting case managers with complex client needs
β Experience working alongside deputies, solicitors, and Court of Protection teams
β Knowledge of BABICM, CMSUK, rehabilitation pathways, or case management services
β Experience supporting individuals with catastrophic injuries, acquired brain injuries, cerebral palsy, or other complex disabilities
