JR Clinical Training & Case Management (JR CTCM) is a growing nurse-led organisation providing specialist case management, direct employment management, clinical training, and expert care services to children and adults with complex health needs, catastrophic injuries, and disabilities throughout the UK.

Due to continued growth, we are seeking to recruit an experienced Clinical Lead – Complex Care & Case Management to join our leadership team.

This is a unique opportunity for an ambitious Registered Nurse who is looking to move beyond traditional nursing roles and play a key part in shaping, developing, and leading high-quality complex care and case management services.

Working closely with the Director, Registered Manager, Deputy Manager, and Operations Director, you will support clinical governance, quality assurance, service development, and the delivery of outstanding care and support to our clients and families.

This role would suit an experienced clinician who enjoys autonomy, leadership, problem-solving, relationship building, and working across a variety of complex care environments.

🌟 THE ROLE

As Clinical Lead – Complex Care & Case Management, you will provide clinical oversight across our regulated services and support the continued growth of our case management provision.

This is a primarily office-based role from our Weston-super-Mare office, with regular travel required to client homes, meetings, reviews, competency assessments, and community-based services.

Key responsibilities include:

βœ” Leading clinical governance and quality assurance activities

βœ” Providing medication management oversight

βœ” Completing clinical audits and driving service improvements

βœ” Undertaking competency assessments and clinical sign-off

βœ” Providing clinical supervision and support to care teams

βœ” Reviewing and developing policies, procedures, and governance systems

βœ” Supporting incident investigations and lessons learned

βœ” Supporting compliance with CQC regulations and quality standards

βœ” Providing clinical advice and guidance across the organisation

βœ” Supporting complex care packages and regulated services

βœ” Undertaking client visits, quality assurance reviews, and package reviews

βœ” Working alongside case managers, families, deputies, solicitors, and multidisciplinary professionals

βœ” Contributing to the growth and development of JR CTCM's case management and complex care services

🌟 WORKING ARRANGEMENTS

βœ” Primarily office-based from our Weston-super-Mare office

βœ” Hybrid working available where appropriate

βœ” Regular travel to client homes, meetings, reviews, and community settings

βœ” Monday to Friday working pattern

βœ” Participation in a shared senior management on-call rota (approximately one week per month) following induction and competency sign-off

βœ” No routine weekend working

βœ” No Christmas Day, Boxing Day, or New Year's Day working

🌟 ESSENTIAL REQUIREMENTS

βœ” Registered General Nurse (RGN) with active NMC registration

βœ” Minimum five years post-registration experience

βœ” Experience within complex care, community nursing, rehabilitation, brain injury, paediatrics, long-term conditions, case management, or healthcare leadership environments

βœ” Previous leadership, senior nurse, clinical lead, deputy manager, or equivalent experience

βœ” Experience working alongside and supporting community-based care teams

βœ” Experience undertaking competency assessments and supporting staff development

βœ” Experience supporting quality assurance, clinical governance, audits, and service improvement

βœ” Experience reviewing and developing policies, procedures, and governance systems

βœ” Strong clinical assessment and decision-making skills

βœ” Excellent communication, report writing, and relationship-building skills

βœ” Ability to work independently and as part of a leadership team

βœ” Understanding of CQC regulations, governance, and quality standards

βœ” Experience working alongside multidisciplinary teams

βœ” Full UK driving licence and access to a vehicle

βœ” Willingness to travel as part of the role

🌟 DESIRABLE EXPERIENCE

βœ” Previous case management experience

βœ” Experience supporting case managers with complex client needs

βœ” Experience working alongside deputies, solicitors, and Court of Protection teams

βœ” Knowledge of BABICM, CMSUK, rehabilitation pathways, or case management services

βœ” Experience supporting individuals with catastrophic injuries, acquired brain injuries, cerebral palsy, or other complex disabilities
