Job Responsibilities
Cleaning bakery production areas, equipment, and work surfaces to ensure a hygienic environment.
Sweeping, mopping, and sanitising floors and preparation areas regularly.
Washing trays, utensils, and bakery tools to maintain cleanliness standards.
Ensuring hygiene and food safety standards are consistently met and adhered to.
Disposing of waste responsibly and maintaining tidy storage areas.
Following cleaning schedules and health & safety procedures diligently.
Required Skills & Qualifications
Previous cleaning experience preferred, ideally within a food production environment.
Good attention to detail and reliability in completing tasks to high standards.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Physically fit and comfortable working in a busy bakery setting.
Positive attitude and strong work ethic.
Living locally to Inverness; driving licence is desirable but not essential as the location is accessible by public transport.
Knowledge of health and safety regulations relevant to food hygiene is advantageous.
What We Offer
Full-time weekday hours, Monday to Thursday, 8:30 am to 5:00 pm. 9.30 start Fridays.
Initial temporary contract with the potential for a permanent position.
