Job Overview
We are currently recruiting reliable and hardworking Cleaners for day shifts at a college located in Central London (EC2M). This is an excellent opportunity to join a professional cleaning team in an educational environment.
The role involves maintaining high standards of cleanliness and hygiene across various areas of the college premises.
Key Responsibilities
Cleaning classrooms, including desks, floors, whiteboards, and touchpoints
Cleaning and sanitising kitchen and food preparation areas
Cleaning toilets and washrooms, ensuring high hygiene standards
Cleaning meeting rooms and offices
Vacuuming, mopping, dusting, and polishing surfaces
Emptying bins and disposing of waste appropriately
Replenishing consumables (soap, paper towels, toilet rolls, etc.)
Reporting any maintenance issues or health and safety concerns
Following all health & safety guidelines and site procedures
Requirements
Previous commercial cleaning experience preferred
Recent UK-based references (essential)
Valid Enhanced DBS certificate (including the original paper copy) – essential
Good understanding of cleaning standards and hygiene practices
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
