We're recruiting for a qualified Social Worker to join a welcoming and supportive Family Help Team in Leominster. This is an exciting opportunity to work within a service recognised by Ofsted for "Delivering Good Quality Services through Outstanding Leadership."

The Role
As a Family Help Social Worker, you'll manage a varied and complex caseload, working directly with children, young people, and their families to provide effective support and intervention.
Your responsibilities will include:
Managing a complex caseload as the Family Help Lead Practitioner.
Completing high-quality assessments, identifying risk, and developing tailored Family Help Plans.
Working in partnership with children, families, and multi-agency professionals to achieve positive and sustainable outcomes.
Leading and contributing to Child in Need meetings, Core Groups, Strategy Meetings, and safeguarding processes.
Working closely with the Multi-Agency Child Protection Team (MACPT) where safeguarding concerns arise.
Undertaking safeguarding investigations and implementing protective interventions where required.
Preparing clear, accurate reports, including court reports where necessary.
Maintaining high-quality case recording and ensuring compliance with statutory guidance and legislation.
About You
We're looking for a passionate and committed Social Worker who has:
A Social Work Degree, DipSW, CQSW, or equivalent qualification.
Current registration with Social Work England.
A minimum of 3 years' post-qualified experience within Children's Services.
Strong experience working with children and families in a statutory setting.
Excellent knowledge of safeguarding, child protection, the Children Act 1989, Children Act 2004, and Working Together guidance.
Experience assessing risk and delivering effective interventions.
Excellent communication, relationship-building, and report-writing skills.
The ability to manage a busy workload while maintaining high standards of practice.
Confidence using IT systems and electronic case management systems.
