Prospero Teaching are seeking a committed Childcare Officer to join a warm, supportive setting in Chelmsford, starting ASAP. Location - Chelmsford
Position - Childcare Officer
Type of work - Childcare & pupil support
Start date - ASAP
Duration - Ongoing / Long‑term
Full time/part‑time - Full time
Minimum rate of pay - £115-£150 per day (depending on experience)
📚 EXPERIENCE, TRAINING AND QUALIFICATIONS
Level 2 or Level 3 Childcare qualification (or equivalent)
Experience working with children in a school, nursery, or childcare setting
Up‑to‑date Safeguarding training (desirable)
Strong understanding of child development and wellbeing
✔️ TO BE ELIGIBLE FOR THIS ROLE THROUGH PROSPERO TEACHING, YOU MUST:
Hold Right to Work in the UK
Hold an enhanced child barred list DBS on the Update Service or be willing to apply for one
Provide two professional child‑related references
