An Opportunity to Build Something Extraordinary
This is not just another CEO role.
This is a rare opportunity to lead the creation of a new adult social care organisation from the ground up, backed by passionate investors who have a long-standing commitment to supporting charities and organisations that positively impact the lives of vulnerable adults.
With substantial financial investment already secured, the foundations are in place to develop a provider that delivers outstanding support for adults with learning disabilities, mental health needs, autism, and complex needs. What we need now is an exceptional leader who can transform vision into reality.
We are seeking a dynamic, entrepreneurial Chief Executive Officer who is excited by the prospect of building a business, developing services, creating culture, and ultimately changing lives.
This role offers the chance to shape every aspect of the organisation—from strategy and service development to operational excellence, growth, quality, and reputation.
The Opportunity
As CEO, you will take full responsibility for the mobilisation, development, and growth of the organisation.
Working closely with the Board and investors, you will develop and execute a long-term strategy that establishes the business as a leading provider of high-quality care and support services.
You will lead the identification and development of new opportunities, oversee registration and mobilisation projects, build high-performing leadership teams, and ensure the organisation consistently delivers exceptional outcomes for the people it supports.
This is a highly visible leadership role that requires strategic thinking, commercial awareness, operational expertise, and an unwavering commitment to quality.
Key Responsibilities
* Develop and implement the organisation's strategic vision and growth plans.
* Lead the mobilisation and development of new adult social care services across residential, supported living, and specialist care settings.
* Ensure full compliance with CQC regulations and sector best practice.
* Build and lead a high-performing executive and operational leadership team.
* Drive organisational growth through service development, acquisitions, partnerships, and new opportunities.
* Establish a culture centred around quality, innovation, and person-centred support.
* Oversee budgets, financial performance, forecasting, and resource allocation.
* Develop strong relationships with commissioners, local authorities, healthcare professionals, and sector stakeholders.
* Present business plans, growth opportunities, and performance updates to the Board.
* Lead large-scale projects from concept through to successful delivery.
* Ensure robust governance, quality assurance, and risk management frameworks are embedded throughout the organisation.
About You
We are looking for a proven leader who has already demonstrated success within adult social care and is ready to take on a unique challenge.
You will bring:
* Significant senior leadership experience within adult social care.
* A strong track record of developing, mobilising, and scaling services.
* Extensive knowledge of CQC regulations, registration processes, and quality frameworks.
* Experience leading large-scale transformation, growth, or start-up projects.
* Commercial acumen with the ability to balance quality outcomes and business performance.
* A history of building high-performing teams and developing future leaders.
* Exceptional stakeholder management and relationship-building skills.
* Strong financial understanding, including budgeting, forecasting, and business planning.
* The credibility, presence, and vision required to lead an ambitious organisation through its next stage of growth.
Most importantly, you will be someone who genuinely believes in improving the lives of adults with complex needs and is passionate about creating services that deliver exceptional outcomes.
What's On Offer?
* Salary of £100,000 - £120,000 (negotiable for the right individual).
* Attractive benefits package.
* Share options and long-term wealth creation opportunity.
* Significant autonomy and influence.
* The chance to shape a business from day one.
* Strong financial backing and committed investors.
* An opportunity to leave a lasting legacy within the adult social care sector.

This role will suit an ambitious, forward-thinking leader who is excited by the opportunity to create, develop, and grow an organisation from the very beginning.
If you have the vision, expertise, and passion to build something truly special, we would love to hear from you
