We have a great opportunity for a permanent chef to work for a well-established contract cater in one of their schools in Ox4,
£27,500–£28,000 per annum including 10–12 Weeks’ Holiday Monday–Friday, paid overtime @21.00p/h
We have a fantastic opportunity for an experienced Chef or very experienced demi chef de partie join the catering team at a prestigious school in Oxford.
The Benefits

* Monday to Friday – no weekend work
* Working hours: 7:00am–3:30pm

The Role
We are looking for an experienced Chef to join a professional kitchen brigade of four, preparing fresh, high-quality food for students and staff . The school also provides hospitality catering, including fine-dining dinners, private functions and special events, giving you the opportunity to develop your experience across different areas of catering.
Key Responsibilities
* Work across different sections of the kitchen as a Chef
* Prepare and cook fresh food from scratch to a high standard
* Support the wider kitchen team during busy service periods
* Assist with hospitality events and fine-dining dinners
* Maintain excellent standards of food hygiene, cleanliness and presentation
* Follow all food safety, health and safety and allergen procedures
* Work efficiently as part of a small and professional team
Requirements
* Previous experience working as a Chef or in a similar role
* Experience within volume or contract catering
* Good knowledge of fresh food preparation and cooking
* Ability to work confidently across different kitchen sections
* Positive and professional attitude
* Excellent teamwork and communication skills
