Key Responsibilities:
👨🍳 Preparing and cooking nutritious meals tailored to dietary requirements
🥗 Ensuring all food is prepared to high hygiene and safety standards (following HACCP guidelines)
📋 Managing kitchen operations efficiently, including stock control and food waste reduction
👥 Working closely with kitchen assistants and healthcare teams to provide excellent service
🧼 Maintaining cleanliness and hygiene in line with food safety regulations
Requirements:
✔️ Previous experience as a Chef in a healthcare, catering, or similar environment
✔️ Knowledge of dietary needs, allergens, and nutrition in healthcare settings
✔️ Valid Food Hygiene Certificate (Level 2 or higher)
✔️ Ability to work independently and as part of a team
✔️ Enhanced DBS check (or willingness to obtain one)
✔️ Flexibility to work various shifts, including weekends
