What You Will Be Doing
Reporting to the Sous Chef, you will work closely with the operations team to fulfill orders promptly and maintain high quality:

Prepare, cook, and present high-quality dishes in accordance with standard recipes and specifications.

Oversee a specific section of the kitchen, managing and training junior staff as needed.
*
Monitor inventory levels and assist with stock control to ensure ingredient freshness.
*
Adhere strictly to food safety and hygiene standards.
*
Assist in implementing cost control measures to minimize waste and maximize efficiency.

Maintain essential knife skills and demonstrate a sound knowledge of diverse cooking techniques.

Collaborate with the team to contribute ideas for improving kitchen processes and food quality.
Qualifications

Experience: Minimum 1 year of professional kitchen experience (3+ years preferred), ideally within airline catering or large-scale food production.

Education: Culinary diploma or equivalent qualification from a recognized culinary school.

Skills: Strong knowledge of food safety and sanitation regulations; excellent organizational and time management skills.

Competencies: Ability to work safely, efficiently, and neatly under pressure to meet tight deadlines.

Flexibility: Ability to work various shifts, including early mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays.
