Job Overview
We are currently recruiting a Catering Assistant to support canteen and vending operations at our site in Rotherham. This is a 12-week temporary role ideal for someone with previous catering or food service experience who is reliable, organised, and able to maintain high hygiene standards.
Key Responsibilities
* Filling and restocking vending machines
* Ordering and managing catering stock
* Conducting regular stock takes
* Cleaning and maintaining the canteen area
* Emptying bins and maintaining waste areas
* Refilling tea and refreshment points
* Recording and monitoring fridge temperatures
* Ensuring food hygiene and safety standards are followed at all times
Requirements
* Valid Food Hygiene Certificate (essential)
* Previous experience in catering, food service, or a similar role preferred
* Good organisational skills
* Ability to work independently
* Reliable and punctual
