Barker Ross is currently recruiting for a reliable and proactive Caretaker / Facilities Assistant to join a well-maintained site in Hackney (E5). This is a full-time, ongoing role with alternating shift patterns, offering a great opportunity for someone with strong practical skills and a hands-on approach to site maintenance and support.

Key Responsibilities:

General caretaking duties across the site
Opening and closing premises in line with shift times
Carrying out basic maintenance, repairs, and inspections
Ensuring cleanliness and safety of internal and external areas
Responding promptly to maintenance requests and emergencies
Supporting health & safety compliance across the facility
Liaising with contractors and reporting issues as requiredRequirements:

Previous experience in a caretaking, facilities, or maintenance role
Basic DIY and maintenance skills
Good understanding of health & safety procedures
Ability to work independently and manage time effectively
Strong reliability and punctuality
Enhanced DBS (essential)What We Offer:
