Part-Time Caretaker Wanted 🔧
Location: Wigan WN4
Hours: Part time , 6am - 9am and then 2.30pm - 6pm Monday to Friday
Pay: Starting from £14.00 ph
Start Date: 03.11.2025
We are seeking a reliable and proactive Part-Time Caretaker to help maintain our [e.g., school, residential building, community centre] to a high standard.
Key Responsibilities:
Opening and closing the premises
Carrying out minor repairs and general maintenance
Ensuring cleanliness and tidiness of the site (inside and out)
Monitoring heating, lighting, and security systems
Reporting any health & safety issues or larger maintenance needs
Ideal Candidate Will Have:
Basic DIY/maintenance skills
A strong sense of responsibility
Good time management and independence
Previous caretaking or maintenance experience (preferred but not essential)
DBS check needs to have an Enhanced DBS in place
