Belmont Recruitment are currently looking for a Caretaker to join their Grounds Maintenance Team on an initial 3 month temporary contract. This is a full-time role working 37 hours per week.
Key Responsibilities

Carry out grounds maintenance and street cleansing duties including litter picking, leaf clearance, strimming, weeding and basic horticultural works
*
Maintain public open spaces, parks, car parks, cemeteries, highway verges and play areas
*
Operate, maintain and clean vehicles, plant and equipment (where trained), completing daily safety checks and reporting defects
*
Undertake basic maintenance and painting of street furniture
*
Apply pesticides and herbicides where qualified
*
Carry out visual inspections of play areas and report or complete minor repairs
Essential Requirements
*
Experience in grounds maintenance, street cleansing or a similar outdoor operational role
*
Good understanding of health & safety and safe working practices
