Job Type: Temporary
Pay Rate: £17.11 per hour inc. hol. pay
Hours: 37.5 hours per week
Working Hours: 8:00am - 4:00pm, Monday to Friday

PPM Recruitment are currently recruiting for an experienced Caretaker to work within a school environment in Birmingham.
Duties & Responsibilities:
General caretaking and facilities duties across the site
Ensure the school premises are clean, safe and well maintained
Carry out general maintenance and minor repairs where required
Open and secure buildings as required
Assist with setting up rooms and moving furniture/equipment
Carry out regular checks of the building and grounds
Report any faults, damage or maintenance issues
Support the wider facilities team with day-to-day tasks
Follow all health and safety proceduresRequirements:
Previous Caretaker or Facilities Management experience preferred
Good general maintenance skills
Reliable and punctual
Able to work independently and as part of a team
Good communication skills
Flexibility is essential as different shift patterns may be required
