We are seeking compassionate and dedicated Care Assistants/Support Workers/Seniors to provide high-quality care and mental health support to an individuals in their own home, during the day and at night. The ideal candidates will be committed to promoting independence, dignity, and well-being among clients with diverse needs.

Preferably you will be a driver with own car to travel to client home and to support client to access the community and attend appointments.

What you’ll do

* Assist clients with daily living activities, including personal hygiene, dressing, and meal preparation

* Support with medication and daily routines

* Help client build skills, confidence, and independence

* Be a friendly face, a listening ear, and a trusted presence, supporting emotional wellbeing

* Foster strong relationships with the client through effective communication

* Maintain accurate records of client progress and any changes in condition

* Drive client to appointments or social activities as required, ensuring their safety during travel.

* Help maintain a clean and safe environment within the client’s home.

* Engage client in social activities to promote mental well-being and companionship.

As a Senior, you will also undertake audits, client reviews, complete spot checks, observations and 1:1 staff meetings.

Requirements

* Previous experience with Learning Disability, Autism and Mental Health conditions preferable.

* Strong communication skills in English, both verbal and written.

* Basic IT skills for record keeping and communication purposes.

* A valid driving licence is essential for roles involving transportation of clients.

* Ability to follow care plans accurately and adapt to the needs of individual clients.

* A caring attitude with a commitment to providing high-quality support to those in need.
