Carer/ Healthcare Assistant/ Support Worker

Full job description

We are seeking compassionate and experienced Support Workers / Carers to assist a young person with Autism, ADHD, and a Learning Disability. The ideal candidate will have a valid driver’s license, access to a car, and business insurance.

Role Requirements:

* Must have at least 6 months of recent care experience

* Must have experience working with individuals with autism or learning disabilities

* Able to manage challenging behaviour with a calm and patient approach

* Experience using PECS and Now & Next communication tools is desirable

* Must be confident supporting in the community (2:1 support)

* Must be proactive in engaging the young person in outdoor and sensory activities (walks, soft play, swimming, etc.)

Shifts:

* Friday: 17:00–19:00

* Saturday: 10:00–13:00

* Sunday: 10:00–13:30pm
