About the Role
As a Careers Advisor, you will play a key role in guiding students from Years 7-13 in making informed decisions about their education, training, and career pathways. You will work closely with students, staff, parents, and external partners to deliver a high-quality careers programme aligned with national guidance.
Key Responsibilities
Provide one-to-one and group careers guidance sessions
Support students with college, apprenticeship, and university applications
Organise careers events, workshops, and employer engagement activities
Maintain up-to-date knowledge of labour market information and opportunities
Work collaboratively with teaching staff to embed careers education across the curriculum
Track and support students' post-16 and post-18 destinationsAbout You
Qualified Careers Advisor (Level 6 or working towards)
Experience working with young people in an educational setting
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Strong organisational skills and ability to manage a varied workload
