This is a varied and rewarding role combining care training, recruitment and new starter onboarding.
You will play a key role in recruiting, developing and supporting care professionals, ensuring they are confident, competent and fully prepared before working in the community.
🩺 Key Responsibilities
*
Deliver care training and practical competency assessments
*
Deliver Medication, Moving & Handling, Safeguarding and Health & Safety training
*
Provide other essential care training and competency assessments
*
Conduct new starter inductions
*
Support recruitment activities and candidate interviews
*
Complete onboarding and compliance checks
*
Support new carers throughout their onboarding journey
*
Maintain accurate training and competency records
*
Ensure required training and competency standards are consistently maintained
*
Help develop a positive learning culture across the organisation
⭐ About You
We are looking for someone who has:
*
Previous experience delivering care training
*
A Train the Trainer qualification, or willingness to undertake one
*
Experience or understanding of recruitment and onboarding
*
A background in domiciliary care would be highly advantageous
*
Excellent communication, organisation and interpersonal skills
*
A genuine passion for developing people and delivering high-quality care
*
A full UK driving licence and access to your own vehicle
*
An Enhanced DBS
