Nocturnal Recruitment Solutions are currently seeking an experienced Team Leader who has worked previously in a day centre/respite setting, and profound knowledge working with young adults with Learning Disabilities and Autism.
You will oversee and support a team of Support Workers, ensuring the consistent delivery of high-quality, person-centred care and support.
Your responsibilities will include:
* Lead, motivate, and support a team of Support Workers to deliver high-quality, person-centred care.
* Ensure individuals with learning disabilities, autism, and complex needs receive tailored, meaningful support that promotes independence and wellbeing.
* Work collaboratively with families, external professionals, and multidisciplinary teams to ensure joined-up support.
* Assist with rota planning and contribute to the effective day-to-day running of the service.
* Provide supervision, mentoring, and ongoing guidance to staff to support their development and performance.
* Promote independence, inclusion, and positive outcomes for all individuals using the service.
* Maintain compliance with safeguarding, health & safety, and quality care standards at all times.
Must Have:
* Experience supporting adults with Learning Disabilities, Autism and Complex Needs.
* Experience as a Team Leader in a Day Centre/similar setting.
* DBS on the Update Service.
* Initiative to lead a team of Support Workers, and deliver group staff sessions where needed.
* Up-to-date knowledge on the Care Acts and legislations in the Health & Social Care field.
Desirable:
* Level 3 Diploma in Health & Social Care.
* Knowledge on Positive Behaviour Support / Challenging Behaviour de-escalation strategies.
