We are supporting a welcoming 45-bedded residential home in Dorking that is looking to recruit an experienced Part-Time Chef to join their kitchen team.
This is a great opportunity for a Chef who enjoys preparing nutritious, home-cooked meals and wants to make a genuine difference to the daily lives of residents within a warm and supportive environment.
Role Details
Position: Part-Time Chef
Location: Dorking
Hours: 28 hours per week
Shift Times: 7:30am–2:30pm or 12:30pm–7:30pm
Pay: £15.74 per hour
Weekend Enhancement: £1.00 per hour additional at weekends

About the Chef Role
As the Chef, you will be responsible for preparing and serving nutritious, high-quality meals while catering for residents' dietary requirements and preferences.
You will play an important role in creating an enjoyable dining experience while maintaining excellent food hygiene and kitchen standards.
Key Responsibilities
* Prepare and cook nutritious, well-balanced meals for residents
* Cater for a range of dietary requirements and preferences
* Maintain high standards of food hygiene and kitchen cleanliness
* Manage food stock and storage
* Work closely with the care team to ensure residents' needs are met
* Help create a positive and enjoyable mealtime experience
Requirements
* Previous experience working as a Chef or Cook
* Experience within a care home or similar setting is desirable
* Good understanding of food hygiene and kitchen safety
* Ability to cater for different dietary requirements
* Reliable, organised, and able to work independently
* A genuine passion for preparing high-quality meals
