Premier Recruitment Hub is recruiting for an experienced and highly organised Care Coordinator / Disability Manager to join a growing domiciliary care service based in Orsett, Thurrock.
This is a fast-paced, hands-on hybrid role that combines care coordination, rota management, staff supervision, recruitment, and community-based support. You will play a key role in ensuring safe, consistent, and high-quality care delivery across the service.
This role is ideal for someone who is confident making decisions, thrives in a busy care environment and is comfortable balancing office-based coordination with real-time operational challenges in the community.
Key Responsibilities
* Coordinate and manage domiciliary care packages across the community
* Plan and maintain accurate staff rotas to ensure safe service delivery
* Oversee recruitment, screening, interviews, and onboarding of care staff
* Carry out service user reviews and ensure care plans are accurate and up to date
* Conduct spot checks, supervisions, and performance monitoring of staff
* Liaise with families, social workers, healthcare professionals, and external agencies
* Support administrative duties including invoicing and payroll processes
* Respond quickly to changes in care needs and operational issues
* Participate in an on-call rota (approximately 1 in 4 weekends)
* Provide hands-on support and cover care shifts when required
About You (Essential Requirements)
We are looking for someone who is not only experienced, but reliable, proactive, and confident under pressure.
* Proven experience within domiciliary care (essential)
* Experience in care coordination, senior care, or supervisory roles
* Strong understanding of safeguarding, CQC standards, and compliance
* Excellent organisational and communication skills
* Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
* Calm, solutions-focused approach when dealing with staffing or service issues
* Willingness to take a hands-on approach when required (this is not office-only)
* Full UK driving licence and access to a vehicle (essential)
