About the role
We are looking for a caring, compassionate and reliable Care Assistant to join our friendly team at our residential care home in Westward H0!
As a Care Assistant, you will play an important role in supporting our residents to live happy, comfortable and fulfilling lives. You’ll provide high-quality personal care and practical support while treating every resident with dignity, kindness and respect.
No two days are the same, and you’ll be part of a supportive team where your contribution really matters.
Your responsibilities will include:
Supporting residents with personal care and daily routines
Helping with meals, drinks and activities
Providing companionship and emotional support
Promoting residents’ independence, dignity and choice
Supporting residents to enjoy social activities and community life
Following care plans, safeguarding procedures and health and safety requirements
About you
Kind, patient and genuinely passionate about caring for others
Reliable, responsible and able to work as part of a team
Respectful of residents’ individual needs and choices
A good communicator with a positive attitude
Comfortable working in a busy residential care environment
Previous care experience is desirable but not essential, as full training and support can be provided for the right candidate.
