VACANCY: FEMALE SUPPORT WORKER (PHYSICAL CARE) LOCATION: WEST CUMBRIA (CA28) | IMMEDIATE START AVAILABLE
ROLE : Healthcare Support / Physical Care Specialist
SHIFTS: 12-Hour Day & Night Rotas
COMPENSATION & RATES
Enhanced Day Rate: £15.69 per hour
Night Shift Rate: £18.72 per hour
Sleep-In Shifts: Available following day shifts (additional pay)
SHIFT PATTERNS
Day Shifts: 10:00 - 22:00 (12 Hours)
Night Shifts: 22:00 - 10:00 (12 Hours)
Sleep-Ins: Option to complete sleep-in shifts following long day shifts
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES & SCOPE
This role is specifically tailored toward physical care support rather than mental health care. Primary duties include:
Executing safe manual handling techniques
Managing and overseeing PEG feeding protocols
Prompt and accurate administration of medications
Delivering personal and physical care tailored to patient needs
CANDIDATE REQUIREMENTS
Driving: Female drivers strongly preferred due to rural shift locations and shift timings.*
Experience: Practical experience with PEG feeds, manual handling, and medication administration is required.
Availability: Willingness to work 12-hour day or night shift patterns.
*Occupational Requirement: Exemption claimed under Section 9, Part 1 of Schedule 9 of the Equality Act 2010.
