Agency Care Assistants – Care Home
Location: Lancashire
AA Euro Healthcare is currently recruiting Agency Care Assistants to support a well-established care home in Lancashire.
We are looking for compassionate, reliable and dedicated individuals who are passionate about providing high-quality care and supporting residents to live with dignity, comfort and independence.
Key Responsibilities
Providing personal care and support with daily living activities.
Assisting residents with washing, dressing, toileting and mobility.
Supporting residents with meals, hydration and nutritional needs.
Promoting residents’ dignity, privacy, independence and overall wellbeing.
Following individual care plans and maintaining accurate care records.
Supporting residents’ emotional and social needs.
Adhering to safeguarding procedures, infection control policies and health and safety guidelines.
Working collaboratively with the care home team to ensure a safe and supportive environment.
Requirements
Previous experience working as a Care Assistant in a care home or similar setting.
A caring, patient and professional approach.
Good communication and interpersonal skills.
Reliability, punctuality and flexibility to work a range of shifts.
An understanding of safeguarding, confidentiality and person-centred care.
Relevant training certificates are desirable.
Right to work in the UK and satisfactory pre-employment checks.
