Salary: Up to £48,000 + bonus & benefits

We’re looking for an experienced Engineering & Consumables Buyer to join a leading manufacturer of household and hygiene products. This is a fantastic opportunity to take ownership of engineering spares, consumables, and service contracts, supporting busy manufacturing operations across multiple UK sites.
The Role
* Manage procurement of engineering parts and consumables.
* Oversee service contracts (e.g. laundry, site services).
* Work with Engineering/Factory Managers and suppliers to ensure availability of critical components.
* Use ERP/MRP systems to control purchasing and stock.
* Drive cost savings, compliance, and supplier performance.
About You
* 5+ years’ procurement experience in manufacturing or similar.
* Strong background in engineering parts/consumables buying.
* Contract management and supplier negotiation skills.
* ERP/MRP systems knowledge (SAP, Oracle, QAD, etc.).
* Excellent stakeholder management and communication.
