Tradewind Recruitment is seeking experienced and resilient Behaviour Mentors to work on a supply basis in a specialist SEMH setting in the Enfield area.
This role is ideal for individuals who are passionate about supporting pupils with Social, Emotional and Mental Health (SEMH) needs, and who are confident managing challenging behaviour in a structured, supportive environment.
Key Responsibilities:
Provide 1:1 and small-group support for pupils with SEMH needs
Support students with emotional regulation and behaviour management
Implement behaviour strategies and support plans
Use de-escalation techniques to manage challenging situations
Act as a positive role model throughout the school day
Work closely with teaching and pastoral staff
Requirements:
Previous experience working with SEMH or challenging behaviour
Calm, patient, and resilient approach
Strong communication and relationship-building skills
Ability to adapt quickly in a supply role
Available for flexible or short-notice work
