Band 6 Social Worker – Adult Social Care | Bedford | 3-Month Contract

Blissful Healthcare is currently recruiting an experienced Band 6 Adult Social Worker for an exciting opportunity with an NHS Trust based in Bedford.

Key Responsibilities

*

Undertake comprehensive Care Act 2014 assessments and reviews.

*

Assess adults with complex health and social care needs.

*

Develop and review care and support plans.

*

Arrange and commission appropriate health and social care services.

*

Complete safeguarding and risk assessments to ensure service users remain safe.

*

Maintain accurate electronic patient records.

*

Work collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams and local authority colleagues.

*

Participate in supervision, reflective practice and ongoing professional development.

Essential Requirements

*

Qualified Social Worker with a recognised Social Work qualification.

*

Current registration with Social Work England.

*

Experience within Adult Social Care.

*

Sound knowledge of the Care Act 2014 and safeguarding legislation.

*

Excellent assessment, communication and case management skills.

Desirable

*

Approved Mental Health Professional (AMHP) qualification or willingness to undertake AMHP training.

*

Previous NHS or Local Authority experience.
