A leading multidisciplinary consultancy in London is looking for an experienced Associate Project Manager to join their growing infrastructure team. The Associate Project Manager will play a key role in the delivery of major and complex infrastructure programmes, with a particular focus on Water and Environment. This is an excellent opportunity for an Associate Project Manager who wants to combine project leadership, client development and team management within a well-established consultancy.

The successful Associate Project Manager will work across major programmes and frameworks, leading multidisciplinary teams while developing strategic client relationships. The Associate Project Manager will also support business growth, major bids and account development, making this a strong opportunity for an Associate Project Manager looking to take on broader leadership responsibility and contribute to the continued growth of the infrastructure offering.

The Associate Project Manager's role

The Associate Project Manager will lead the successful delivery of complex infrastructure commissions and frameworks, ensuring projects meet client, commercial and programme objectives.

Responsibilities will include managing senior client relationships, overseeing project governance, risk and controls, leading multidisciplinary teams, monitoring commercial performance, supporting major bids and tenders, and identifying opportunities to grow key client accounts.

The role will also involve mentoring and developing Project Management staff, contributing to recruitment and helping shape the wider infrastructure strategy.

You must have prior construction consultancy experience to be considered for this role.

The Associate Project Manager

The successful candidate will have:

10+ years' experience delivering complex infrastructure projects and programmes

Strong experience within the Water and Environment sector

A degree in Engineering, Project Management, Environmental Management or a related discipline

Experience leading major programmes, frameworks and multidisciplinary teams

Strong commercial awareness, including fee management and forecasting

Experience with NEC3 and NEC4 contracts

APM PMQ, PRINCE2 or an equivalent Project Management qualification

Chartered status such as ChPP, MRICS, MICE, CEng or equivalent

Strong client relationship, leadership and line management experience

Experience supporting business development and account growth
