We're looking for a motivated and detail-oriented Associate Management Accountant to join our finance team in Durban. This is an excellent opportunity to work within a global business environment, supporting our UK entities while being part of a collaborative, high-performing South African team.

Key Responsibilities

Financial Reporting: Assist with the preparation of monthly management accounts, including P&L, balance sheet, and variance analysis across multiple UK trading entities.
Budgeting & Forecasting: Support the budgeting and forecasting process and contribute to financial planning and analysis.
Reconciliations & Compliance: Perform reconciliations and ensure compliance with internal financial controls and reporting standards.
Audit & Year-End Support: Provide assistance with external audit requirements and year-end reporting.
Collaboration: Work closely with UK-based finance leads and internal stakeholders to ensure accurate and timely reporting.
Continuous Improvement: Contribute to process improvements and finance transformation initiatives within the department.

Key Requirements

Part-qualified or currently studying towards a professional accounting qualification (CIMA, ACCA, SAIPA, or equivalent).
2-4 years' experience in a management accounting, financial reporting, or similar finance role.
Strong analytical and Excel skills with excellent attention to detail.
Proactive approach with the ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines.
Strong communication and collaboration skills, especially when working across regions.
Prior exposure to multi-entity or international environments will be advantageous.
