The Role
We are recruiting for an Assistant Warehouse Team Leader to join a busy and growing operation based in Carnforth. This is an excellent opportunity for someone looking to step up into a leadership-focused role within a fast-paced warehouse environment.
You’ll play a key role in supporting the day-to-day running of the warehouse, working closely with a team of 6 to ensure orders are picked, packed, and dispatched accurately and efficiently.
Key Responsibilities
* Picking and packing customer orders with a high level of accuracy
* Supporting the Team Leader with daily operational tasks
* Working efficiently in a fast-paced warehouse environment
* Assisting in coordinating and motivating a small team
* Ensuring all orders meet quality and accuracy standards
* Contributing to the success of the company’s online order operation, which accounts for approximately one-third of the business
About You
* Excellent attention to detail is essential
* Previous warehouse experience (team leadership or senior role desirable)
* Ability to work at pace while maintaining accuracy
* Strong teamwork and communication skills
* Reliable and committed with a proactive attitude
