A growing construction consultancy based in Kent is looking for an Assistant Project Manager to join its expanding team. This is an excellent opportunity for an Assistant Project Manager with construction consultancy experience to work on residential developments ranging from £3m to £50m while building a long-term career within a supportive and ambitious business.
The Assistant Project Manager will work alongside experienced Project Managers and senior leaders, supporting the delivery of residential schemes while taking ownership of smaller projects as their experience grows. This Assistant Project Manager role would suit someone who is eager to learn, enjoys working closely with clients and contractors, and is looking for a business that actively invests in career progression. The successful Assistant Project Manager will join a young, collaborative team with excellent APC support, flexible working following probation, and exciting growth plans across England.

The Assistant Project Manager's role
The Assistant Project Manager will support the delivery of residential developments from inception through to completion, working on projects ranging from £3m to £50m.
The Assistant Project Manager will assist with programme management, consultant coordination, procurement support, contract administration, project reporting, risk management, and stakeholder engagement. They will attend client and site meetings, liaise with contractors and consultants, prepare project documentation, and help ensure projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to a high standard.
As experience develops, the Assistant Project Manager will be given responsibility for delivering smaller projects independently while continuing to support senior colleagues on larger and more complex developments.
The Assistant Project Manager
The successful Assistant Project Manager will have:
Prior experience working within a construction consultancy environment
Experience as an Assistant Project Manager or Graduate Project Manager
Residential project experience
A degree in Project Management, Construction Management, Quantity Surveying, Building Surveying, or a similar construction-related discipline
Working towards MRICS, MAPM, MCIOB, or another relevant professional qualification
Good knowledge of JCT contracts and construction project delivery
Strong communication, organisational, and client-facing skills
A proactive attitude and a genuine desire to develop within project management
