Our well-established Telford client has an Assistant Management Accountant vacancy on a permanent basis. This is a varied role reporting to the Finance Director
You will be responsible for:
* Supporting month-end and quarter-end financial reporting
* Monitoring costs and analysing budget variances
* Identifying and escalating financial concerns to the Finance Director
* Liaising with auditors, professional advisers and banking contacts
* Ensuring monthly payroll is processed accurately and on time
* Supporting continuous improvement initiatives across the business
* Preparing and presenting financial performance information
* Managing supplier payment runs in line with internal controls
* Promoting compliance with financial controls and procedures
* Supporting the development of colleagues within the Finance team
Skills and Experience
Entry level accounting qualifications are accepted; they are happy to support development. Experience in a similar role is essential.
