ASD Tutor - 1:1 Support (20-Year-Old Learner)
Job Details
We are seeking an experienced and understanding Tutor to support a 20-year-old learner with ASD on a 1:1 basis.
The learner has diagnoses of Autism Spectrum Condition (ASC) and Obsessive Compulsive Disorder (OCD) and presents with needs across cognition and learning, communication and interaction, sensory and physical needs, and social, emotional, and mental health (SEMH).
This role requires a tutor who can provide structured, personalised support while building confidence, engagement, and independence in learning.
Location: Fareham and Gosport
Hours: 12 hours per week
Start Date: September

Requirements
Experience working with learners with ASD and/or OCD
Understanding of SEN needs across communication, cognition, sensory processing, and SEMH
Ability to adapt learning to meet individual needs
Patient, reliable, and empathetic approach
Strong communication and relationship-building skills
Experience in tutoring, teaching, mentoring, or SEN support
Enhanced DBS (or willingness to obtain one)
