Job Title: Area Sales Manager – Porcelain Surfaces/ Slabs
Industry Sector: Kitchen Worktops, Large Format Slabs, Porcelain Floor & Wall Tiles, KBB, Kitchen & Bathroom Retailers, Kitchen Studio’s, Stonemasons, Worktop Fabricators, Stone Fabricators, Independent Retailers, Housebuilders, Interior designers, Architects
Area to be covered: North of Thames up to Milton Keynes
Remuneration: Up to £48,000 + Up to £10,000 Bonus
Benefits: Fully Expensed Plug-In Hybrid & Benefits
The role of the Area Sales Manager – Porcelain Surfaces/ Slabs will involve:
* Field sales role selling a manufactured range of large format porcelain slabs for kitchen worktops, furniture, flooring, wall cladding and facades
* 70-80% of your time will be spent stimulating demand with kitchen retail showrooms, smaller amount with architects, interior designers, housebuilders
* Remainder of time ensuring 100% of the revenue is fulfilled through an established base of stone and worktop fabricators
* Inheriting an area turning over approx... £400,000 (circa 80% of target YTD)
* Four days per week on the road visiting customers, typically 4-5 appointments per day
* Assisting with merchandising, training, developing and nurturing kitchen studio’s, kitchen & bathroom retailers as required
The ideal applicant will be an Area Sales Manager – Porcelain Surfaces/ Slabs with:
* 2 years+ field sales experience from within the kitchen & bathroom industry
* Ideally sold into a mix of customers to include; stone and worktop fabricators, kitchen retail showrooms, architects, interior designers and housebuilders
* Driven and motivated to succeed
* Hardworking/ honest
* Professional and prepared with strong organisation and territory management capability
* Prepared to do long days as required
