The role of the Area Sales Manager – Kitchens will involve:
* Field sales role selling our clients manufactured range of kitchens
* Selling into predominantly independent retail showrooms
* Smaller element of dealing with builders merchants and regional housebuilders
* 30-40% of your time account managing circa 30 trading accounts (with a turnover of approx. £1.2m)
* 60-70% of your time focused on new business development, after 6 months you will be targeted to generate £100,000 of new business per month)
* On boarding 15-20 independent retail showrooms initially to achieve run rate target
* Typically 4 days a week on the road, remainder working from home
* Ideally 4-5 meaningful customer visits a day when on the road
The ideal applicant will be an Area Sales Manager – Kitchens with:
* Must come from the KBB market, ideally kitchens
* Contacts within independent retail showrooms
* Open to sales experience working for independent retail showrooms or field sales experience selling to independent retail showrooms
* New business hunter
* Resilient and relentless approach
* Thrives on winning new clients and driving revenue growth
* Driven and results-oriented
* Organised, methodical, good journey planner
* Well presented
