OVERVIEW
An excellent opportunity has arisen for an experienced Area Sales Manager to join a well-established manufacturer within the fenestration industry. Covering the Midlands region, the successful candidate will be responsible for developing and managing relationships with trade showroom customers, driving sales growth, and increasing market share across a high-quality heritage window and door product range.
This role would suit a driven and commercially focused sales professional with experience selling windows, doors, or fenestration products into the trade sector.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
• Manage and develop an existing portfolio of trade showroom accounts across the Midlands region
• Identify and secure new business opportunities within the trade and installer market
• Promote heritage-style window and door solutions to trade customers
• Build strong relationships with showroom owners, installers, and decision makers
• Conduct regular customer visits to maintain account activity and maximise sales opportunities
• Provide product guidance, technical support, and commercial advice to customers
• Work closely with internal departments including estimating, customer service, and operations
• Monitor market activity, competitor products, and pricing trends
• Deliver sales presentations and product demonstrations where required
• Achieve and exceed sales targets and KPIs
• Maintain accurate CRM records and sales reporting
REQUIREMENTS
• Previous experience within an Area Sales Manager, Business Development Manager, or Regional Sales role
• Strong knowledge of the window, door, or fenestration industry
• Experience selling into trade showrooms, installers, or fabricators
• Understanding of heritage window and door products would be advantageous
• Excellent communication and relationship-building skills
• Commercially aware with strong negotiation skills
• Self-motivated and able to manage a regional territory independently
• Full UK driving licence
