Cloud 9 are seeking an Area Sales Executive to join one of the major leading packaging organisations to cover the South West. This role offers a unique blend of autonomy and support and is a good mix of account management and new business development. Key Responsibilities
* Manage, nurture and develop an existing portfolio of accounts,
* Identify, source and onboard new business in your territory through structured business plans.
* Build strong and trusted relationships maintaining healthy sales pipeline.
* Actively plan sales activities to meet company growth targets.
* Develop and maintain a strong knowledge of company products in order to provide top class customer service.
* Share own knowledge and expertise with colleagues.
* Ensure packaging solutions are tailored to customer requirements through thorough consultation.
* Evaluate profitability and confidently negotiate and close sales.
Skills and Experience
* Field B2B sales experience of at least two years in the packaging industry preferred.
* Experience with a related manufacturing/technical solution/design sales background will be considered.
* Proven successful record of developing existing accounts and winning new business.
* Confident presentation, negotiation and closing skills.
* Excellent communicator at all levels.
* Commercially aware and strategic thinker.
* Consultative approach.
* Ability to add value through resolving customer queries and challenges.
* Self-motivated and ambitious.
* Results-driven.
* Excellent communication and organisational skills.
* Good attention to detail with excellent report writing skills.
* A valid clean UK driving licence.
Remuneration
You will receive a salary of £40k-£45k DOE, a performance-based bonus and a list of company benefits, together with ongoing career development support and opportunities!
