We’re currently seeking a reliable and compassionate Agency Cook to join our team, supporting a care home based in Nottingham. With 2 to 3 shifts available weekly, this is a great opportunity for someone seeking a steady yet flexible role.

Preparing and cooking balanced, nutritious meals for residents in line with dietary needs
*
Adhering to food hygiene and safety standards at all times
*
Managing kitchen cleanliness and ensuring proper stock rotation
*
Working independently or with kitchen assistants as needed
*
Catering to dietary requirements including allergies, soft diets, and diabetic meals
⏰ Shift Pattern:

07:30 AM – 17:30 PM
*
2–3 shifts per week (flexibility to pick up additional shifts when needed)
✅ Requirements:
*
Previous experience working as a cook or chef
*
Good understanding of nutrition, food safety, and special diets
*
Food Hygiene Certificate (Level 2 or above preferred)
*
Ability to work autonomously and follow menu plans

A friendly and respectful attitude towards older people
