We are currently seeking an experienced Aftersales Manager to join our client’s franchise-approved car dealership in Gloucester.
The Aftersales Manager will play a key role in overseeing the aftersales department, ensuring exceptional customer satisfaction and operational efficiency. Working hours from 8:30am-6:00pm, Monday to Friday with occasional Saturday shifts as requiredDuties:
Drive and manage the aftersales department to deliver outstanding customer service and satisfaction
Supervise and support a team including vehicle technicians, service advisors, parts advisors, and drivers
Ensure maximum utilisation of workshop facilities and the efficient sale of labour and parts/accessories
Maintain high standards of operational efficiency and compliance with company policies
Develop and implement strategies to enhance customer retention and departmental profitability
Monitor and report departmental performance, ensuring targets are met or exceeded
Promote teamwork, staff training, and continuous improvement within the departmentRequirements:
Proven experience as a Service or Aftersales Manager within a franchise-approved car dealership, ideally in a small to medium-sized operation
Strong leadership and team management skills
Excellent organisational and communication abilities
IT literate with proficiency in relevant dealership management software
Valid UK driving licence with minimal points
Ability to work proactively and support colleagues to achieve departmental objectives
