Our client, a reputable franchise-approved car dealership based in Kidlington, Oxfordshire, is seeking a Vehicle Aftersales Advisor to join their busy Service Department. This is an excellent Aftersales Advisor opportunity for a motivated individual to develop within a respected automotive business.

Salary up to £30,000 per annum, dependent on experience

Monday to Friday working hours, 8:00am to 6:00pm, with no weekendsDuties of an Aftersales Advisor:
Greet customers in the Service Department and book their vehicles in for repairs
Liaise with the workshop to chase work in progress and ensure timely delivery
Advise and influence customers on minor technical issues, delivering a first-class service
Upsell additional products and services where appropriate
Keep customers informed regarding vehicle repair progress
Take payments for completed work and ensure customer satisfaction
Build and maintain strong relationships with customers and manufacturers
Support the dealership’s objectives and targets related to aftersales servicesRequirements of an Aftersales Advisor:
Prior or current experience as an Aftersales Advisor is desirable but not essential
Strong customer service background from hospitality or retail sectors will be considered
Excellent communication and organisational skills
IT proficiency, ideally with experience using Kerridge Dealer Management System (non-essential)
Knowledge of automotive warranty procedures and liaising with manufacturers regarding warranty work (advantageous but non-essential)
Valid UK driving licence with minimal points
