£28–£29 per hour

We are recruiting Advanced Paramedic Prescribers to support a well-established urgent care service across multiple sites in Northern Ireland.

This is a flexible, ad hoc opportunity suited to highly experienced clinicians who can assess, treat and prescribe independently within a “see and treat” model.

The Role

* Autonomous assessment, diagnosis and treatment of urgent care patients

* Manage minor illness and injury presentations independently

* Prescribe safely and appropriately within scope of practice

* Work within a full “see, treat and prescribe” model

* Make confident clinical decisions without direct supervision

* 12-hour shifts (08:00–20:00)

* Flexible shift patterns, often in blocks

* Weekend shifts available

What We’re Looking For

* HCPC registered Paramedic

* Independent prescribing qualification (essential)

* Strong experience in urgent care / minor illness & injury

* Confident autonomous practitioner

* Comfortable working in solo clinical settings

* Able to adapt across multiple sites
