Sewell Wallis are working with a well established accountancy practice based near Doncaster, South Yorkshire, who have an opportunity for a Senior or Semi-Senior Accountant to join their supportive team.
What will you be doing?
* Preparing year-end accounts for sole traders & limited companies.
* Preparing self-assessment and corporation tax returns
* Preparing management accounts using accounting software such as Xero and QuickBooks
What skills are we looking for?
* Proven work experience as an accounts semi-senior or senior accountant within a practice
* Audit experience is desirable but not essential.
* Proficiency in using accounting software like Taxcalc, Sage, Xero, and QuickBooks
* Excellent organisational skills and ability to manage multiple tasks effectively
* Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, to liaise with various clients and staff
* A proactive approach to problem-solving and a commitment to maintaining high standards of accuracy
