An established accountancy practice in Sheffield is looking for an experienced Accountant to join their friendly team on a permanent basis. This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys variety, client contact, and working across multiple sectors.
Key Responsibilities

Prepare and review accounts, VAT returns, and tax returns.

Manage bookkeeping, reconciliations, and financial reporting for clients.
*
Handle payroll and ensure compliance with HMRC requirements.
*
Provide business and tax advice to clients as needed.
*
Support start-ups and SMEs with compliance and planning.
Requirements
*
Minimum 4 years’ experience in an accountancy practice.
*
AAT/ACCA qualified or part-qualified (or equivalent).
*
Strong knowledge of UK accounting standards, VAT, and tax compliance.
*
Excellent attention to detail and ability to manage multiple clients.
*
Strong communication and client-service skills.
