This is an excellent opportunity to join a professional yet approachable firm supporting a varied client base of sole traders and small businesses. As a result, you’ll have the autonomy to work independently while building strong client relationships and delivering high-quality accounting services.
The Role
As a Part Qualified Accountant, you will play a key role in the day-to-day delivery of accounting services. This is a hands-on position suited to someone who enjoys responsibility, autonomy, and client interaction.
On a day-to-day basis, you will manage your own workload and client portfolio, working closely with clients to support their accounting needs.
Key Responsibilities
* Preparing year-end accounts for a range of clients, with a strong focus on sole traders
* Managing your own portfolio of clients and associated deadlines
* Supporting clients with day-to-day accounting queries and providing a high standard of service
* Working with cloud-based accounting software (Xero and QuickBooks)
* Ensuring compliance with relevant accounting standards and regulations
* Building and maintaining strong, long-term client relationships
About You
* Part qualified (AAT / ACCA / ACA or equivalent)
* Up to 4 years’ experience within an accountancy practice
* Strong experience preparing accounts
* Confident working independently and managing your own workload
* Experience using cloud accounting systems
* Excellent communication and client-facing skills
* Reliable, organised, and detail-oriented
