Location: Liverpool city centre

Jane Lewis Healthcare is looking for an experienced Account Manager to join our Liverpool team.
This is a key operational role responsible for managing healthcare staffing accounts, maintaining strong client relationships and ensuring shifts are filled with suitably skilled and compliant healthcare professionals.
You’ll act as a main point of contact for clients and work closely with our recruitment, compliance, payroll and operations teams to provide a responsive and reliable service.
What you’ll be doing
As our Healthcare Staffing Account Manager, your responsibilities will include:
Manage and develop relationships with our internal bank team, service managers and external providers.
Act as the main point of contact for staffing queries, escalations, and requirements.
Drive shift fulfilment performance and workforce availability across assigned accounts.
Ensure healthcare workers are accurately matched to client requirements and site specific compliance standards are met.
Monitor staffing demand, workforce planning, and staffing trends.
Oversee timesheet processing, approvals, and payroll governance to ensure accuracy and timely submission.
Produce and analyse performance reports, including fill rates, compliance, and service KPIs.
Work collaboratively with external suppliers, Compliance, Payroll, and Operations teams to resolve issues and improve service delivery.
Ensure adherence to contractual obligations, service level agreements, and company policies.
Identify opportunities for service improvement and account growth.
Helping to operate the company’s on-call system as part of a rota, responding to urgent staffing requirements and service issues outside normal office hours when required
What we’re looking for
Essential experience and skills:
At least two years’ experience in healthcare staffing, recruitment, workforce management or account management
Experience managing high-volume staffing accounts or coordinating a busy staffing service
Strong client relationship and stakeholder-management skills
Excellent organisation, communication and problem-solving abilities
The ability to manage competing priorities in a fast-paced environment
Experience monitoring performance and producing reports
Good Microsoft Office skills and experience using recruitment or workforce-management systems
A customer-focused and results-driven approach
Strong attention to detail
Desirable experience
Experience managing national or multi-site client accounts
Knowledge of Vendor Management Systems, Managed Service Provider arrangements, neutral vendor models or client portals
An understanding of timesheet processing, payroll procedures and healthcare workforce compliance
